NLI Research Institute was established in July 1988 to commemorate the centennial of Nippon Life Insurance Company. We perform basic and solution-oriented research from an unbiased perspective, spanning areas such as domestic and international economics and finance, social security including pension and long-term care issues, and housing and urban development.
